We’re pretty sure we started off on the wrong foot; let's retrace our steps a bit, shall we? I totally understand where you are coming from, what, with the Big Boss threatening to reduce your marketing budget in half, yet still demanding sales across all product categories, no wonder your blood pressure is rising so high.
Then there’s the small matter of the amount of channels that you need to keep pace with, social, mobile, email, analytics, activations, radio, billboard, search, content, whew!! It’s enough to make a grown man cry!
If those lazy product development guys could only come up with a silver bullet product, it will make your job so easy and make you shine like a million stars at management meetings. Oh well, if only.
Then there are also these pesky agencies, thinking they know it all, they should spend a day in your shoes and let’s see if they’ll talk as fast or as smart.
Truth is sir; we wish you were a bit more open also to some of our suggestions instead of shooting them down before it got a chance to see the light of day.
Some of us also care genuinely about helping you drive those sales and making you look like a star at management meetings, not just about how to take a part of your marketing budget and run. I know you sometimes wish we had all the answers ourselves, why else should we be called creative agencies if we didn’t, right? Wrong!
We do not have all the answers, but we could. Together. If you could be a bit more trusting, if you could meet us halfway, if we could work on it together, as a team, if there were mutual respect across the table...
